HOW TO GET THERE
The main modes of public transport are: Trains and Buses

New Year’s Eve specific information regarding transport will be available in December.

PUBLIC BUSES
Transport NSW will run additional bus services. Route 370, 423, 436, 426, 428, M30 busses operate via City Road to Victoria Park. Route 412, 413, 436, 438, 439, 440, 461, 470, 480, 483, M10 busses operate via Parramatta Road to Victoria Park.

For egress, to prevent overcrowding at bus stops, event messaging will direct patrons to use Train services from Central Station and Redfern Station to get home as the alternative to using buses.

TRAINS
Normal train services to and from Redfern and Central Train station will be running throughout the day as per normal schedules. Additional services will be provided by Transport NSW.

It is a 13-minute walk from Central Station and a 15-minute walk from Redfern Station to Victoria Park. Trains will be promoted through event messaging as the main mode of transport for patrons to get home.

LIGHT RAIL
Victoria Park is a 20min walk from Glebe and Central Light Rail station and will run every 8-10 minutes on New Year’s Eve. The last rail service from Central to Lilyfield will leave at 3am on New Year’s Day. EVENT CAR PARKING
Whilst there is on-street parking available in surrounding streets based on hourly, ticketed rates, the Event Organizer will not be encouraging patrons to drive and park their vehicles for the event. Patrons will be encouraged to use public transport.

Alternatively, patrons can drive and park their vehicles at the below parking lots with a 2-17 minute walk to Victoria Park. All parking lots are user-charge based on hourly rates which can be found on their websites below:
