Conditions of Entry

NEW YEARS EVE IN THE PARK is a LICENSED 18+ EVENT only. No exceptions.

  • There are strictly NO PASSOUTS.
  • On request security have the right to ask you to legitimise yourself with further ID requests.
  • All patrons and staff will be wrist-banded on entry to the event. ANY patrons with no wristband that are on site will be ejected immediately.
  • No liquids are permitted on site for safety and security reasons. There is free water and sunscreen provided on site at various locations inclusive of First Aid locations.
  • No food, alcohol or beverages are allowed to be brought onto the site.
  • No weapons, glass, metal objects, fireworks, flares, glow sticks, laser pointers, umbrellas, portable seats, hampers, eskies, sporting equipment or dangerous goods are permitted on site.
  • No animals are permitted on site (apart from authorized guide/companion dogs).
  • No professional recording devices such as video cameras, Go Pro cameras or audio recorders are allowed on site.
  • Any and all footage taken by patrons on camera, mobile phone or any recording device is subject to Copyright Laws. The event and its artists give no permission for filming, photographing or any recordings. Where used in any public medium without written authorization from ITP MUSIC PTY LTD, Falcona Pty Ltd or Mothership Events Pty Ltd, either entity may prosecute.
  • The event has a “TOPS ON” policy. Anyone not wearing tops (singlet, t-shirt etc…) will be rejected at the gate and refused service at service points throughout the event. Anyone inside the event not wearing a top will have their wristband removed and will be ejected from the event.
    Patrons will be refused service at any service point unless wearing compliant attire.
  • Any intimidating behaviour including posturing or “surrounding” patrons will NOT be tolerated and will result in ejection from the event.
    Please arrive and depart in an orderly fashion and respect our neighbours, so we can return next year.
  • You may be filmed at this event for the purposes and use, at the sole discretion of the event.
  • The event will not take responsibility or liability for cloaked items or ties you bring into the event site.
  • Line-up and schedule is subject to change without notice.
  • All patrons entering the venue must be over the age of 18, entry to the event is at own risk.
  • All patrons entering the event must have a valid photo ID and ticket.
  • Valid Photo ID is required for entry (VALID Passport, VALID Australian Driver License or State specific proof of age card).
  • Attendees from overseas must bring their valid passport to gain entry. Overseas driver’s license, student University and/or Public Transport cards will not be accepted.
  • On request security have the right to ask you to legitimise yourself with further ID requests.
  • Wristbands are not transferrable and must be worn at all times, patrons must not tamper with or remove them for the duration of the event, if removed a patron may be ejected from the event.
  • Wristbands remain the property of the event at all times.
  • Only authorised and fully accredited media approved by the Marketing and Publicity departments are permitted at the event.
  • Any media or persons found to be carrying media equipment (microphones, recording devices, camera etc.) or deliberately deceiving staff will be removed and banned from the event for an indefinite period.
  • If you are evicted from the event or refused entry your ticket will be cancelled and you will not be allowed re-entry.

Security staff are entitled to search; pat down or metal detect any patron upon entry to buses and the event. Any person not compliant will be refused entry or removed from the event without refund.

A first aid station will be available throughout the Venue.

By entering the event and using the venue and medical facilities, a patron consents to providing access to their medical information.

By entering the event and using the venue and EMS medical facilities, a patron consents to providing access to their medical information.

If you have Special dietary or medical needs you must register the following details in your application in writing via email prior to the event.

  • Supply doctors certificate/letter confirming your condition and its requirements.
  • Supply a list of items you wish to bring in to the event.
  • Please note that you will still be required to pass through entry processes of the event.
  • A written approval form will be sent in response to your email.

Presentation of the signed approval form and supporting documents are required at the entry gates to confirm your entry and exemption to the event conditions of entry.

The venue is a licensed venue and practices the Responsible Service of Alcohol. Free drinking water is available throughout the venue. Guests who appear under age may be questioned and asked to legitimise their age with further ID requests. Penalties apply for patrons who fail to comply with conditions set out in the Liquor Act 2007.

Some events are subject to approval from the Liquor Licensing Commission or Office of Liquor and Gaming etc…

There will be an Increased NSW Police presence on all forms of Public Transport, across the Sydney Metropolitan Network, Including Drug Detection Dogs on event day.

There will also be an increased NSW Police Deployment at the event, and throughout the event precinct as well as an extensive NSW Police Drug Dog operation running the duration of the day.

Specialised NSW Police units will be deployed to identify and exclude undesirables, both on entry and inside the event/venue Police have the right to attend events and have the right to question and eject patrons from the event, if they are suspected of possessing illegal substances, weapons or contraband.

Patrons should respect police and be compliant with their requests, but should also be aware of their rights.

The Event and the Venue shall not be held liable for any loss, injury or damages sustained entering or within the premises.

The event will not be held liable for any hearing damage or loss. Use earplugs if necessary.

The event accepts no responsibility for patron’s actions.

Refunds will not be given for tickets in any case.

No 3rd party promotional items including flyers, posters, stickers, wristbands or tickets are permitted for distribution at the event.

Do not purchase your ticket from outside the venue, from a reseller or from an unauthorised online vendor like Gumtree or Ebay. Only tickets purchased from or directly via the event authorised ambassador sales. Failure to purchase a ticket from an authorised outlet may result in refusal of entry. Tickets must be treated like cash. Tickets are not refundable and will not be replaced or refunded if lost, stolen or damaged, except as required by law & as otherwise specified by NYEITP. The sale or re-sale of a ticket by the Ticket Holder (including online auction sites) without the prior consent of NYEITP is prohibited. NYEITP has an ongoing relationship with the police regarding the falsification of tickets to events. If you suspect you have purchased an invalid ticket please contact: immediately.

All patrons entering the site must have a valid ticket. Patrons on site without a valid event ticket or event accreditation will be ejected immediately. One ticket is only valid for the admission of one person.

Forging a ticket to the event will result in immediate rejection. The event reserves the right to refuse entry if a patron has been previously ejected from one of their events. It is the sole discretion of the event to allow banned patrons to attend future events. The event has the right to pursue legal action if banned patrons continue to attempt to flout their ban.

Bag searches will be conducted upon entry to buses and event. Once cleared, patrons will have their tickets scanned and are cleared to enter the event.
For the safety of all patrons, it is a condition of entry that all patrons submit to being searched (pat down of persons, metal detection of persons or physical inspections of bags and containers) upon entry and throughout the event. In the event a patron refuses to submit to a search:

  • On entry – the patron will be refused entry without a refund,
  • During, and within the confines of the event – the patron may be removed from the event without a refund.

Security staff are trained in managing the cultural sensitivities associated with searches and suitable facilities will be provided to conduct searches in a manner that enhances the safety of the event whilst managing the cultural sensitivities associated with these activities. Patrons have the right to refuse a search, however those that do so acknowledge they will be excluded (through refusal of entry) or removed from the event without refund.
